President
				Rev. Dr. Lane R. Seitz Phone: 952-223-2150 E-mail: MNSPres@mnsdistrict.org Lane has served as District President since 1991, most recently being re-elected for a sixth term at the 2006 District Convention. His duties are numerous and varied as "ecclesiastical supervisor" for the pastors and professional church workers in 245 congregations throughout the District. Lane prayerfully compiles pastoral call lists for calling congregations, assists with the placement of vicars and new seminary graduates, chairs the District Board of Directors meetings, counsels conflicted congregations, and serves on several other local and national boards. Lane's previously served on the District staff as an Assistant to the President for Stewardship and Evangelism. Before moving to Minnesota in 1985, he served as a parish pastor in northwestern Wisconsin.

Executive Assistant to the District President
				Rev. Timothy Kinne Phone: 952-223-2165 E-mail: Timothy.Kinne@mnsdistrict.org Timothy accepted the call to join the MNS District staff in the fall of 2007. He serves at the direction of the President, assisting him with his numerous and varied responsibilities. Before moving to Minnesota, he served first as a Lutheran High School Teacher in Detroit and Fort Wayne, then as a parish pastor to congregations in central and northeastern Wisconsin. He and his wife Debra have been blessed with five children.

As Assistant for Missions, Peter’s responsibilities include sharing and promoting God’s Mission in the Minnesota South District by developing and carrying out a District mission strategy, mission education, and communication of the District mission program to the people and congregations of the Minnesota South District. The Assistant for Missions assists congregations to see themselves as Mission Outposts to their communities, and provides supervision and encouragement for missionary personnel and District subsidized ministries. Peter is married to Kathy. They have three children, David (Susan), Jenny, and Daniel.

Dave's duties and responsibilities include providing direction and counsel to the elementary, secondary and early childhood schools of the Minnesota South District. Dave previously served as a school administrator and teacher in various locations throughout our church body.

Gift Planning Counselor
				Mr. Glenn Thiel Phone: 952-223-2154 E-mail: Glenn.Thiel@mnsdistrict.org Glenn Thiel serves The Minnesota South District-LCMS in partnership with The LCMS Foundation Gift Planning Services as a Gift Planning Counselor. Glenn serves congregations and individual members in will, estate, and financial planning from a Christian perspective. Prior to joining the District staff, Glenn served the LCMS Foundation both as a Gift Planning Counselor and Director of Major Gifts for the Concordia University System's "For The Sake of the Church" initiative. Glenn has over 25 years of service assisting congregations in establishing endowment funds, conducting wills awareness programs, gift planning presentations, stewardship worship messages and Bible studies. Glenn holds memberships in the Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE), the MN Planned Giving Council (MPGC) and the National Council on Planned Giving (NCPG). Schiller began his position as Director of Development on May 1, 2007. His job description states that he will, “give leadership to casting a vision, establishing priorities, and defining strategies and events for development in the District” and that he will, “work with pastors, congregations, and congregational leaders to develop mature, spiritual funding support for the mission and ministry of the District based on biblical stewardship principles.” He is also well qualified to assist congregations in the development of a biblically-based stewardship plan which will educate the members regarding total life stewardship. Evan and his wife, Suzie, live in Pipestone. He will work primarily from his office in Pipestone. Prior to being called to the District Staff, Evan served as a parochial school teacher for 21 years and then as a pastor for 25 years. His entire ministry has been spent within the Minnesota South District. During those years he served on various boards and committees, including as Secretary of the District. Most recently he served on the District’s Board of Directors as the Vice-president for Region IV.
Lutheran Church Extension Fund

Kurt's duties include loan consultations, analysis and approval of LCEF loans, working with delinquent loan accounts, and providing demographic services to member congregations. Kurt also serves in an advisory role to the District Finance Committee.
